Poet Lee Weaver


Lee Weaver, Saint Augustine’s own Playwright/Actor/Poet and his wife Nanette, travel “all over the country” performing their Special OPS (One Person Shows).  Their Redemption Series focuses on the social issues of our time: Military Veterans, PTSD, Homelessness, Gun Violence, Religious Intolerance, Climate Change, Alzheimer's, LGBTQ, Pedophilia, Indigenous American Holocaust, The Me To Movement, Racism and The Saint Augustine Civil Rights struggle of the 1960’s

For over a decade, New York metropolitan area TV viewers were familiar with Weaver’s weekly broadcast.  The Weavers also co-hosted a morning call in/talk radio show in the New York area.  They moved to Saint Augustine, Florida from Summit, New Jersey in 2001.

Lee is an Artist, Auctioneer, Guest Speaker, Vocal Soloist, Stand-up Comedian and (once upon a time), a Racquetball Champion and Instructor of same at Yogi Berra’s Health Club in New Jersey.  He says, “Participating in PAM Jam is an honor and promises to be one of Saint Augustine’s finest endeavors. Artist Per Hans Romnes

Per Hans Romnes is a Saint Augustine based fine art photographer and photographic educator.  His personal passion for photography began in the 9th grade when he won a first-place award in the National Scholastic Magazine art completion for one of his night photographs.  His personal passion for photography has always been centered around expanding educational opportunities in the visual, written word, and performing arts, both nationally and in the greater Saint Augustine area.

Per Hans holds a B.S. in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin, in Madison, and an M.F.A. in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. He taught darkroom photography for 30 years at Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Florida, as an AP and IB art teacher, and is currently teaching as an Adjunct Photography Instructor at the Southeast Center for Photographic Education on the Daytona State College Campus. He has conducted numerous summer Photography Art Camps for at-risk youth.

Per Hans is currently an exhibiting artist at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery, an award-winning member of the Saint Augustine Art Association, as well as a visual contributor and member of The Write People, and the Ancient City Poets.  He has served as a guest judge for numerous regional art completions, including area camera clubs and art associations. He participated and assisted as a workshop coordinator for numerous regional and nationally famous artists and photographers through the Atlantic Center for the Arts in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, the Southeast Museum of Photography and the Southeast Center for Photographic Education on the Daytona State College Campus, and Maine Media in Rockport, Maine.
